The process of biofeedback is a method which employs special, non invasive instruments that are attached to the body to ‘feed back’ information that helps an individual correct given conditions.

A good, everyday example would be the use of a mirror to help with makeup or combing hair – the mirror is a biofeedback device. EEG Biofeedback and Neurofeedback are terms used when the treatment involves the brain. Practice is essential and will help create lasting, beneficial behaviors.

This form of ‘feedback’ treatment is known as EEG Biofeedback or Neurofeedback — a means by which an individual can learn to modulate of self-regulate brain activity.
